Alaska Gold Standard Tours has all local guides who are very familiar with Alaskan history and wildlife. This tour is unique as you are guaranteed to see many of the animals native to Alaska at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. In addition we also offer one of the areas top hikes through an amazing canyon while getting up close to Byron glacier in addition to possibly spotting wildlife along the way, including Beluga Whales, Moose, Black and Brown Bears and taking a stop to see the Salmon running! Please keep in mind that Alaskan weather can be variable from sunny days to overcast and rain, which is all part of the experience. Temperatures in the summer can vary between 50 - 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so please be prepared for sun, rain, mud and cooler temperatures along the way!
