The host is wonderful. She helped us arrange a taxi from the dock to the hotel and prepared an excellent breakfast from us. Nice terrace outside to sit and relax. Comfortable beds.

Refugio Mr Jerry Eco Hostal ligger stranden i Bahía Solano och erbjuder en terrass. Pensionatet har familjerum. Rummen har sängkläder. Super friendly staff, serving great food from their own kitchen, they have a really good chef. The owner made the best out of my trip and gave me many recommendations and did also a whale watching tour. I felt personally appreciated to be there.

The Pelican House Hostel ligger i El Valle och erbjuder ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Boendet har ett gemensamt kök och kan även ordna med att arrangera turer. Amazing amazing place, so relaxing and beautiful. We didn’t want to leave !! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and we met so many lovely people

Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) erbjuder husdjursvänligt boende i El Valle. Detta bed and breakfast har en solterrass och utsikt över havet. We had a fantastic 4-night stay at El Morro Hosteria in El Valle. Monica, the owner, is a wonderful host, and the ocean-view room was perfect. The spacious rooms are cleaned daily, a kitchen is available, and Monica prepares delicious breakfasts. Her organized trips, including whale watching, were a highlight. El Valle offers a peaceful, non-touristy experience. Plus, the presence of six friendly cats and a lovely dog added to the charm. Highly recommended!

Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge ligger i Nuquí och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en trädgård. Det finns också ett kök i några av boendeenheterna som är utrustat med ett kylskåp. Wow, what an amazing place! Both the lodge and the area itself. It was way better and way less complicated and "rough" than I thought so I'll leave a detailed review. I flew to Nuqui from Medellin EOH in 30 min with Clic air/ex-EasyFly (which I recommend, they have new ATRs, bigger planes than others flying here which is helpful if you get turbulence along the way). Flights were on time both ways. After you pay the Nuqui entrance tax, you turn slightly left and then right and walk 2-300 meters to the tourist port/muelle turístico. Claro and Tigo have coverage here but if you have another Colombian SIM you are covered too due to Roaming Automático Nacional (I got H+ speeds with my SIM from WOM, not sure if having a SIM from Claro gets you 4G or the same; speed was enough for browsing and posting pics, don't think it works for video call). Previously you would have messaged the host (on wapp) who sends a boat/lancha to pick you up. 2-3$ and 10 min later (this trips itself is nice) you are at the lodge. The tent I had was right by the beach and the area had hammocks and a comunal, new and clean, bathroom/shower area. Shower water is not hot but not cold either, it feels fresh. You can buy food, drinks, water, coconut etc from the host, very affordable. This stretch of beach can be reached only by boat and the accommodation is the only one in the area so you'll have kms of beach by yourself (+ crabs/cangrejos haha). It's very easy to travel to Nuqui, the lancha that got you here can be called for you by the host (Niqui has more places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy etc so no need to overplan things like I did haha; host can help you to even get food delivery from Nuqui!). The whale watching tour that the host booked for me was very nice too and not only it includes whale (and dolphins!) watching but it also goes to a nice, more populated beach area and to Termales.

Reciclarte Galería Hostal ligger i Capurganá, en kort bit från Capurganá strand, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, en trädgård och en bar. The owner was very helpful and always willing to help. Also, its not to far from the town center so you can walk to and from. Also, the outdoor/indoor showers were surprisingly refreshing and definitely a highlight of the hostel! Also, wifi is surprisingly good considering how remote the town is.

HOSPEDAJE DOÑA NEL ligger i El Valle och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och restaurang samt gratis WiFi. Gästerna kan njuta av utsikten över trädgården. Everything was great and the price-quality ratio is simply outstanding. The room was very clean and cozy (more than it appeared from the pictures), the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Of course the locations right on the beach is lovely and strongly increases your chances or seeing whales and turtles! It is true that the tide makes the hotel inaccessible at some hours, but as far as we understood this is the same for all hotels located on the beach. Moreover, the owners helped us to know at what time we needed to leave every time we went on an excursion or when we left. So finally it was not too problematic thanks to them.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO ligger 6 minuters promenad från Capurganá strand och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och ett gemensamt kök. Det finns gratis WiFii alla utrymmen. The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!
