Everything! We were lucky to have been given the newest room, which was nice and big and well finished. The balcony has great views over the lake. The family do everything to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was very generous, a mix of typical dishes made with local ingredients. We couldn't have started our day any better. And as we had just arrived in Albania, we fear we won't find another breakfast like that anywhere else! There's a good choice of restaurants in the village, 5 minutes walk away. And there's private parking on site. Would love to go back!

Really cool, nice place. From the beginning the staff were really good at communications, arranging our ferry passage up the lake and making sure we made it to the ferry port ok. Shala River is definitely worth a visit, I’ve not been anywhere like it. The property itself is really nice, very comfortable and clean rooms and we had a balcony facing the river. We felt our property had the best stretch of river outside it. The restaurant served really good food and nice breakfast too and the drinks prices were a good price compared to other bars on the river. We’d definitely recommend Guesthouse Zgiboza if visiting Shala River.

Amazing guesthouse in paradise. The room was new and very clean. It is not hot inside during the day and at night because the guesthouse is in the shadow of the trees but still have amazing view to the river. The staff is very attentive. They have varied breakfast. Also you can take in this place kayak. Thanks for everything and good luck.

My room and en-suite were super clean, as well as the rest of the hostel. It was super close to the bus stop and downtown, maybe 5 minutes walk. The volunteers were incredibly welcoming, showed me around the city to the best markets and restaurants (shoutout Anti, Tom, Summer, Ross), and the manager was always doing something to make sure the hostel ran smoothly. Highly recommend a stay here!
