Location is awesome.. at the middle of the city There is restaurant in the hotel. The hotel includes exceptional breakfast and we were given the native pastries. Room is good size and very clean.

The location was fantastic and couldn't be any more central to the cafe/bars, set back off the street from any additional noise but close enough to the main live music bar on the street Kultura Bar this apartment was an absolutely perfect choice and close to what we wanted. The large terrace area was nice to sit and relax watching T.V. whilst eating our breakfast in the mornings.

Good small hotel very close to the center, restaurants, etc. The room is spacious and comfortable with a big and modern bathroom .We parked the car at their parking. Some guests mentioned it is narrow, which is true, but not as to present difficulties to go in and out. Buffet breakfast was nice with savoury products, such as traditional byrek, boiled and scrambled eggs, veggies, sausages... and sweet ones like cereals, cakes, fruits... Coffee and tea rounded it. Nice place to stay in Shkodër. Staff was also nice and helpful.

We absolutely love the city and this time around we went to...

We absolutely love the city and this time around we went to see some place we had not before. I would really recommend the Shkodra History Museum and the Lead Mosque. We also went to the beach at Velipoja which is just 30 minutes by car.

This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes.

This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes. The city’s diversity of people and cultural mix stood out strongly, and over the weekend the lively atmosphere of parties gave it an energetic spirit. What touched me most, however, were the Catholic churches scattered around the city. Stepping into them gave me a profound sense of spirituality and peace, balancing the vibrant social scene outside. Shkodra truly holds a unique charm – a place where culture, celebration, and spirituality come together beautifully.

Reviews we read of Shkoder said it's a university town with lots of biking. Not sure what those reviewers were writing about, but there weren't many bike friendly areas and the town was not as vibrant as we expected. We did spend some time in the Shiroka area on the lake a 10 minute or so drive from Shkoder and that was very nice - good restaurants and lake activities. We also went to the mountains and stayed in Theth, which was wonderful and highly recommended.

Very comfortable property in the heart of Shköder old town. The host Nicola was supremely welcoming and hospitable (I even left some trousers there accidentally and he got in touch with me to let me know - when we arrived back in town he was available immediately and had even washed them for me!). We stayed in a few really great guesthouses during our time in Albania, but this was the best. Dripping with character, great facilities, comfortable and stunning location. We hope to be back!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Shkoder, Albania! The location was perfect—very close to the city center and everything else you might need. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with everything exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hosts were also very welcoming and kind, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shkoder!

Best hotel in Shkodër. New installations. Great terrace and the staff is friendly. Our window room could not close easily and they upgraded us the room for free. It is located in the city center around the best cafes and restaurants in town. There was Albanian traditional music in the bar next to it and however the place was very quiet during the night. We left very early in the morning on our way to Vallbona and they prepared us a traveler breakfast..

Great location close to walking malls, restaurants and bars. Staff so helpful, booked our trip to Valbone and return journey from Theth, stored our bags, pick up was from the hotel so all super easy thanks to the staff there. Hôtel breakfast was good and the rooms adequate. We found Stesi Travel and Tours a short walk from the hotel were also super helpful for planning the rest of our trip in Albania, highly recommended!

Shipija e Gjyshit was in general one of the best hotels we stayed in Albania. The location was great, the view was amazing and the access was easy. The stuff spoke excellent english and were very very joyful and helpful during our stay. The room was nice but the service was even better, plus you get a swimming pool with views for a fair price.
