We have got exactly what we booked. The balcony was the biggest surprise for us with a wery lovely view. The bathroom is well equiped, everything was clean, the breakfast was not selfservice , but we have got everything we wanted to eat and also it was a great service and the breakfast was delicious. The garage is hard to approach but it's in the underground and also we felt our car in safe. The elevator is a great idea there.I would really recommend staying here. It's a lovely hotel, we felt like home.

We liked everything of this hotel, from the tastefully decorated hall, bar and rooms, which also were very comfortable, spacious, excellently clean and super quiet to the to special central location of the hotel next to the theatre of the city. Excellent English and Italian breakfast, depending on the choice. The owners were very friendly, especially their youngest son Amir, who loved to serve in the hotel and answered to every our need with very fluent English and good availability.

I had an amazing experience at Tribute Hotel during my recent stay in Shkodër. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, modern yet cozy, with great attention to detail. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely view of the city. The bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was a real highlight — fresh, delicious, and served in a charming dining area. I especially appreciated the variety and the quality of local products offered. The location of the hotel is also ideal — just a short walk from the main attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The stay was very pleasant. What we liked the most was the cleanliness and hospitality. Everything was tidy, clean, and the staff was extremely polite. The owners were always there ready for any need or suggestion we had. They made you feel at home. The hotel conditions were very good, the environment quiet and suitable for a peaceful rest. And although breakfast was not included in the price, it was prepared with care and according to our wishes. Truly a place that I would recommend to spend your holidays.

We loved the Boga Alpine Resort for its stunning nature all round and makes a good „base camp“ to start daytrips for hiking near Theth, although the place is quite cheaper than staying directly in Theth (but you need a car to reach Theth from the accomodation). Furthermore, the owners have been very friendly and worked hard to give their guests an unforgettable experience. We would also recommend eating at their restaurant, loved all the fresh dishes, especially the Antipasto.

Beautiful place - felt genuinely wild at times.

Beautiful place - felt genuinely wild at times. The walk right down the valley via the Grunas waterfall to the village just below the Blue Eye walk is lovely. Don’t get the bus/ taxi there but get it back. Restaurant Gjecaj is excellent.

This was our favorite spot in Albania.

This was our favorite spot in Albania. It's secluded and personal and the staff was exceptional. Mark had us laughing the whole time and Sando kept us entertained with Raki and stories of Albania. We sat on the floating dock at night and saw every star in the sky. They took us to the beach for the day and we skipped rocks and swam in the freezing water under the hot sun. There was plenty to do at the beach, including zip lining, a DJ, bars, and more. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I'll never forget the friends we made there!

Out of season there is really nothing to do in the city and...

Out of season there is really nothing to do in the city and we cam in the beginning of October. 95% of shops and restaurants are closed and kids have nothing to do int he are of the town. I believe that in the season this place is very lively, but we have not experienced that ourselves.

Mountains and hiking but without tourists and crowds like in Theth. Friendly and accommodating locals because most tourists do not stay overnight in Boge. Boge is only a quick stop for coffee then people continue to/from Theth.

We absolutely love the city and this time around we went to...

We absolutely love the city and this time around we went to see some place we had not before. I would really recommend the Shkodra History Museum and the Lead Mosque. We also went to the beach at Velipoja which is just 30 minutes by car.

We stayed at a guesthouse in the mountains about a 10 minute drive from the main village. We did really enjoy being outside of the village as it was a bit crowded and littered. We did have a rental car and felt it was nice to have but there were taxis and group vans all over the main parking lot in Theth to take travelers to different popular hiking spots like The Blue Eye. If you do rent a car, a smaller car is better as the mountain roads are not very wide. Overall, the views are absolutely amazing and it feels like a fairytale little town.

We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour.

We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour. It's an excellent place to stay for that purpose and there is an excellent swimming facility on the lake. We didn't checkout additional activities in the area.

It was the first time to be in Velipoje.

It was the first time to be in Velipoje. It's not a big city but I am positively surprised. The Velipoja beach (where we were placed) was clean, the water was so clear and warm. The kids part with the toys at the center of the city was excellent. The food was good tasted, fresh and the staff was very polite.
