Located on the Beetszee with its extensive lawns, mature trees, and its own small beach and Swans, it’s peaceful and calm. It was perfectly located for my participation in the Worlds Masters Rowing races on the same lake. It is located at one end of the 2 km rowing course just away from the hustle and bustle of the regatta. The food is served buffet style, breakfast and dinner, and is very reasonably priced. Some of the dinner dishes -which changed nightly- reminded me of my German-American grandmother’s cooking. The whole presentation is a lot like an Iowa church supper with generous portions of wholesome delicious food for canoeists, bikers and walkers.
