We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy the view and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Apartment has all the basics, terrace with private garden, barbecue and secure parking in a quiet beautiful private area and located 50 meters from private beautiful Stony beach, there are natural pools which you can swim in. It is easy to get there by car also if you are into walking you can have a pleasant Walk about 3 km from center of Augusta to the Apartment. Close to the place (1km) there are supermarket, bakery, beauty salon, farmecy, coffee shop, restaurant.... With car or by walk you can find amazing view points around this place for example (Sbarcatore dei turchi), (Grotta della Balata) and Faro Santa Croce (light house) are nearby. The town of Agusta and the island of Agusta are nice places to visit for dining or have a special Sicilian Panini in the evening . Historical city of Syracuse is 30 minutes away from Augusta which you get there by car or from center of Augusta by train and busy city of Catania 40 minutes away by car or train. The Host and his family are the most friendly and kind people that we have met in a very long time, besides having total privacy we were also feeling that we are staying with very good brother or friend of ours and that was very heart warming, they provided us with information about places to visit, eat, shop.....and all we needed to know which is very important if you are visiting Sicily for the first time.We are excited for our next visit and staying in this place again so if the description of this place meets your needs and it is available for your dates of traveling don't miss the chance. The location is good, the beaches with sand are a little bit away to go on foot but it is still not a problem to reach by car. Having visited by car I used it to travel in the area to the cities of Augusta, Syracuse, and Catania, but also farther. The resort after the maintenance will look awesome, with lots of trees, flowers, and grass. Most have shared pools to use and the accommodations are very nice.

Very welcoming hosts Francesco and his wife met us on the way and was reachable all our stay. Besides Francesco speaks english good, what is really a surprize in Sicily! There are 2 apartments on the second floor with outside sitting area with the view of the sea and small harbour. Inside there are 2 bedrooms and equiped kitchen with washing machine- what is very convenient! The sea is few meters away, and the location is perfect for traveling to Catania, Noto or Syracuse. Every morning there comes a bakery on wheels, so you can buy stuff for breakfast. We felt like in our family home:) Thank you for everything!

Very clean the apartmant, safe parking, extremely kind and helpful hosts. My husband had some problems with his stomach when we arrived in the evening, they helped with some medicine.

The property is excellent, the host provides everything that's needed and more! Coffee pods for the coffee machine, great selection of kitchen utensils, oil, sugar ,tea, clingfilm, kitchen roll etc. The WiFi is totally stable and fast allowing streaming with no pauses. All this and then a huge roof terrace, some open and some with a roof for shade and very comfortable furniture to sit on while looking at the Mediterranean. BUT there is a downside - the apartment is on the second floor of an old building up two flights of narrow marble stairs with no hand rail in some places. I have age related mobility issues and struggled with the stairs. I think parents with toddlers and babies may also find this difficult. I don't know what would have happened on arrival had I not been able to use the stairs at all? Nowhere in the listing is this pointed out which I feel it really should be. If narrow stairs are not a problem for you then I can't recommend this property highly enough. If I'd known what access was like I'd not have booked this property.
