A wide variety of breakfast options to choose from. Got a free room upgrade and a complimentary city tour. The staff was very attentive and helpful at all times. the highlight of the property was the rooftop pool and sauna that was open upto 11pm allowing us to enjoy it after we are back from the day activities.

The place is new, so everything is well-kept and maintained. The bed was clean and comfy, the shared shower and toilette were clean too! Staff were friendly and helpful--I arrived at the hostel around 4 am, and they let me check in early.

I had a wonderful stay at this little boutique hotel. It is an oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling city. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated with many local touches. The hotel serves delicious home cooked food. I had the Sri Lankan breakfast during my stay and can highly recommend it. Overall, staying at the Highbury Hotel felt like staying in a beautiful and welcoming Sri Lankan home. I will surely be back when I return to Colombo next!
