Great location, amazing views, felt like you had your own private beach. The apartments had everything you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment you could want. The bedrooms were comfortable and large. Having a water cooler that was replenished daily was an amazing luxury that you don't realise you need when traveling. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond. The owner was very flexible and accommodating when we couldn't leave the island due to the ferries being prohibited from sailing due to typhoon warnings.

Location: less than 5 min walk to the nearby market and seafood restaurants. Room: the room is really clean, the bed comfortable, food during breakfast was great! Ordered Danggit silog during my whole stay! Amenities are complete with shower heater, water is strong, sunny place, aircondition is good and cool, TV is small but it's fine since you're not expected to be in the room always. The room I stayed in is good for two. Beach: it is not beach front but it is just 5min walk to the Kota beach. If you can drive a motorbike, you can rent it nearby and just go around the island. Bantayan island is truly a lovely, lovely place. So peaceful, far from the city and yet within reach of basic needs I didnt have any expectations staying at SMAK but the staff there are very attentive and kind. They always greet you with a smile. Check-in and check-out was smooth. There's wifi in the property. It's fast enough for Viber and Zoom calls. Goof enough for some net surfing. Highly recommended for locals and internation travelers!

Truly a home away from home. All you really need to bring are your clothes and some raw ingredients, the rest is already taken care of. For freelancers like me, the reliable internet connection was a lifesaver. I could work comfortably without worrying about losing connection, a rare gem when you're on an island escape! If you’re in the mood to stay in, Isla Vida also offers cinematic-style entertainment with a projector and tons of movies, perfect for cozy nights when you don’t feel like going out. But when you do want to explore, everything is conveniently close. Kota Beach is just a short walk away, and Camp Sawi is only a few minutes’ drive. The amazing hosts, Jean and Alex, can even help you arrange motorbike rentals and give you great tips about the island. And of course, you’ll instantly fall in love with Max, their sweet and friendly dog who adds to the welcoming, homey vibe of the place. Isla Vida is the perfect blend of luxury, convenience, comfort, and island life. With hands-on hosts and a space that feels like your own, it’s an experience you’ll want to relive again and again. Highly recommended!

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. Very nice and helpful staff. The place is a bit remote so it is very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Clean and nice on the beach compared to other resorts. Definitely worth a visit.

Villa Jana offered a spacious mini-apartment with a living area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and two outdoor spaces—very comfortable and well-equipped. The room was clean, and the welcome was excellent, with helpful guidance and the option to rent a scooter on-site. Small touches like a fridge with affordable drinks, plus kettle, coffee, and tea, were appreciated. The location is not central, though a beach is just 150 meters away; for places like Kota Beach, you’ll need a scooter or tricycle. Renting a scooter is highly recommended to explore Bantayan freely. The owner was very kind and even helped arrange accommodation for an extra night. Air conditioning worked perfectly, though it wasn’t always necessary. Overall, great value for money: not luxury, but clean, comfortable, and well-priced. Bantayan is ideal if you’re looking for a relaxed holiday with beautiful beaches.
