We stayed at 1 bedroom flat, which was very spacious and included a full kitchen and a washing machine. We didn't use the pool but the facility looked good, and it had direct access to the beach. The location is also good as it was in the pearl, and we could walk along the promenade and easy access to restaurants etc.

This has by far been the most disappointing experience we have ever had. First the hotel contacted us 1 week before our check-in date to tell us they were giving us an "upgrade" to a bigger room. We immediately identified this was not really an upgrade but a matter of overselling the hotel as this "better" room was not in the same hotel building. We were assured that we would have access to all of the hotel facilities and that both buildings were connected by a bridge so we didn't have to exit to the street to get to the hotel - BOTH OF THOSE PROMISES A LIE! When we arrived to the hotel the whole hotel was surrounded by police, inside and out and WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO USE ANY FACILITIES INSIDE THE HOTEL. Even the lobby was inaccessible to us. Only one restaurant we could use for breakfast and we were ASKED TO ENTER AND EXIT FROM THE STREET. We were made feel so unwelcomed that we chose to leave to another hotel. Upon checkout I decided to use the restroom and police was waiting for me outside and asked me to leave from the back door. All of this because the hotel decided to welcome a French football team from Paris that is sponsored by Qatar. On repeated occasions we told them if they knew the hotel would be inaccessible to guests why to even bother receiving guests. We tried to get a refund in multiple times and they denied saying the booking was not refundable. We have stayed at various Banyan Tree around the world and this experience puts the whole brand into disrepute. WHAT KIND OF HOTEL RECEIVES GUESTS KNOWING THEY WONT BE ABLE TO USE THE HOTEL? The whole staff was completely unapologetic as if we were the weird ones for being upset about this situation. In the end we managed to get a partial refund, but that was after multiple escalations and complaints.

The customer service is impeccable from the bell man to the housekeeping, reception. They are all very supportive, accommodating and very friendly. The room is big and comfortable. You have all the basics that you need. My favorite hotel!

We were looking at spending a luxury stay for a week in Doha & in every aspect, St Regis was standing out and we are glad that we selected this hotel. I will note the experience - We had an amazing experience at this luxury hotel by the beach. Traveling with teenagers can sometimes be tricky, but the staff here made everything so seamless and enjoyable (including an experience where one of our girls ripped their shoes). From check-in to check-out, every detail was well taken care of, ensuring we felt pampered and relaxed the whole time. Ms Samar helped us arrange a few family activities around Doha, like a desert safari which was an amazing experience for our family. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from a beautiful, pristine private beach. The views were breathtaking, and the beach was clean and well-maintained by the hotel staff. Our teenagers loved it! They were able to explore, swim, and join various beach activities without us having to worry. The hotel offers plenty of amenities perfect for families. The pool area was a highlight, with an adult-friendly area. Our rooms were luxurious and spacious with a stunning view of the ocean. The hotel staff provided thoughtful touches, like having extra towels and face wash, which was so convenient. Ms Maleik and Ms Hana were so attentive and ensured we got some local treats to try on daily basis, these little gestures that really made us feel at home Overall Experience This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The luxurious yet comfortable environment, combined with a location made it a perfect choice for a family. The blend of entertainment, relaxation, and excellent service created memories we’ll treasure. Highly recommended for any family looking to experience Doha’s finest! It balances luxury and family-friendliness beautifully, with staff who are professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. We can’t wait to come back – thank you Mr Manan for an unforgettable stay!

The hotel is spectacular and it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would love to come here again. The location is perfect facing the corniche and the rooms either a sea view or partially view. The working staff are smiley, very helpful and trying their best to help you even though i signed in during holidays but i got served and being satisfied after abnormally waiting. A thing that i can’t skip is the breakfast and their restaurant waiters and waitresses specifically the waiter’s name is tallga, he is a smily and very helpful guy, i would be more than happy to deliver special thanks to him and all others . Overall, the food is delicious and you can order whatever you like ( food or drinks ) and you will be serviced up to availability and surely they will try to make it for you. The breakfast is highly recommended. Many thanks swissotel 🙏🏻
