I travel often to Istanbul this was my 3rd staying at Galapera and I'm always pleased with their services! The hotel is very clean all services have european standards, location is great next to Shishane metro station Galata Tower and all major turistic attractions. The room was exactly as shown in the picture. Good size bed, room it has all staff that you need to prepare food and laundry equipment etc. What lovely staff members, Maher, the receptionist, and Amera, the cleaner , they tried their best to help. Thank you for the hospitality. Definitely, I will book with them again .

The staff welcomed us with a smile and politely. Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque are very close. There are many historical places around. Everywhere is nearby. I am happy to stay here. I recommend it.

This is a new hotel, everything was so clean and perfect! The location is chef kiss! It’s literally less than 5 minutes walk to sultan Ahmet tram station, minutes walk to popular tourist attractions such as the Blue Mosque. Room was spacious. Customer service was great! Really nothing to complain about, value for money. Nestled among shops, food and even supermarkets. Laundry just beside if you decide to wash your clothes. All in all, don’t think just book. value for money and with the location you really can’t beat that.

The Double room with Double bed was very clean, with a comfortable bathroom. The staff was very kind and helpful. The position is good to visit Sultanahmet neighbourhood, but far from the Beyoglu area (easy to reach by taxi). The hotel also has a sauna and a heated swimming pool that close at 8pm

Great location and very helpful staff

Its location is ideal for those who will go to Istanbul for the first time or for those who will visit touristic places; located in Fatih, near Sultanahmet. So, the location is very touristic, they invite you to the surrounding restaurants in every language, it is almost difficult to hear Turkish. Everything appeals to tourists. The location is perfect for those who want something like this, but next time I will choose slightly different places. Breakfast was nice. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. On the first day we needed to check in a few hours early, they helped us with that and we stayed in another room for a day. Cleanliness, bed comfort, bathroom/toilet also met our expectations. Since it is a touristic location, almost all hotels and surrounding places (restaurants, hookah places, etc.) are expensive, but we left this hotel satisfied at the end of 1 week. Thanks for everything.

Service, rooms and price and location

The property was very clean, the bathroom spacious and the beds comfy. There was a small balcony at the back of the flat which was very nice to cool down in the evenings. Kadir bey showed us the facilities and was always available for a chat. The flat has a washing machine and kitchen aswell as AC in all 3 bedrooms. The Internet was good. The area is an old area of town and is very safe. A lot of nice cafes and restaurants - so many, that we were not able to check them all out. The area has a mix of local and touristy vibes. The prices in the area were very reasonable. You will be able to reach most attractions in 10-15 mins by Taxi or by walking. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

Arrived with low expectations since I was reading some of the negative reviews, but oh boy I was wrong.. Location is 1000/10, the service and welcoming 10000/10, do not hesitate to book “basement level” rooms, they are spacious, and have balconies. The breakfast was delicious! You have plenty to choose, desserts were SO YUMMY! Guest relations managers are so sweet and helpful! Receptionist are also super friendly and ready to help with everything! Since it was my fathers birthday, they decorated the room and served the cake in our rooms 🥰 The best hotel in the best area to be honest! Would recommend to everyone! You will not be disappointed, that I can quarantee, since we had NO problems with anything during our stay.

Everything was just perfect, Great personnel ( specially Fatma) , They all met us with a smile and helped us. Although the hotel is in the middle of the action, the rooms were vey quiet and calm, packed with all u need, We liked the breakfast in Hagia Sophia hotel.

Staff were so attentive helpful and humble. The location is perfect, couple of minutes from the metro station and the tourist area . The room is always clean and tidy .

We stayed in Istanbul 4 days, and it was amazing.The Hotel is nice ,clean and comfortable, very near to all attractions in the Old City-few minutes of walk and you get there.We have been welcomed by Aykut who was super kind,friendly and helpful. He helped us arranging the transfer and with any problem, request we had.Also other stuff members,like Dogan and Eren very very helpful and friendly.Thanks to Gul,the rooms were super clean on a daily basis. We really had a pleasant stay at the hotel and in the city as well

We stayed for three days at this hotel in the Fatih area. The location is excellent for visiting Istanbul’s main attractions. We were warmly and professionally welcomed by Özgür, who was very helpful right from the moment we booked, even before we arrived. The hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere thanks to his professionalism. Highly recommended.

I stayed about 1 week during business travel in November. I highly appreciate kind support of Izmail who works at reception, he is guru in all sightseeing best tours. The breakfasts were very tasty at terrasse with fantastic views. Very cosy and nice hotel with 2 min tram stop. Best location

An amazing place to stay at the heart of Istanbul. Very spacious room, comfortable bed. The staff is super nice! The breakfast was in this great cafe downstairs also called Fuego, and I really reccommend coming back there to eat lunch/dinner too - the food is great.

This hotel is located near to Sultanahmet Tram station, an excellent location. The management and staff are exceptionally good. They really care their customers. The owner of hotel is very friendly and nice person. They serve wonderful breakfast and the hotel staff is very good. They clean the room everyday and solve any issues if encounter. The hotel also provides information about city tour and can arrange airport transfers. I really enjoyed my stay there. Really worthy. I can grade 10/10. i am satisfied 100%. Highly recommended to stay there.
