The Double room with Double bed was very clean, with a comfortable bathroom. The staff was very kind and helpful. The position is good to visit Sultanahmet neighbourhood, but far from the Beyoglu area (easy to reach by taxi). The hotel also has a sauna and a heated swimming pool that close at 8pm

Blu Macel was the perfect place to start our travels in Turkey. The staff is kind, helpful, and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, perfectly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. We also really enjoyed the afternoon tea snacks. If you don’t have a lot of time in Istanbul, this neighbourhood is perfect as it is walking distance from most of the places we hoped to visit. A special thank you to the hotel manager, Azer, for his exceptional hospitality. I would highly recommended this hotel!

I am generally very satisfied with my stay. In particular, the bathroom was very clean and the room - comfortable. The receptionist Kurban was very helpful and kind. Another member of staff, Didar, was also very friendly and made for a great stay!
