We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

TITI QALA HOSTEL tiene zona de playa privada, terraza, restaurante y bar en Comunidad Challapampa. El alojamiento está a 2,6 km de Chinkana y Mama Ojjlla. Excelente ubicación, el anfitrión, Pablo, muy amable, me ayudó en todo lo que surgía. Desayuno bastante completo, lindas vistas. Cuenta con estufa, un detalle muy importante.

Quilla Wasi - ISLA DEL SOL se encuentra en Comunidad Yumani y dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Beautiful sunrise view from terrace and bedroom window from second floor. Relatively new rooms with modern bathroom and hot shower. WiFi was good. Breakfast was filling. About 30 minutes walk up but that means you're only 10 minutes from the top where you can find lots of restaurants with sunset views. Nicely decorated room.

You do not have to climb the stairs at is near the habour. Even the retaurant was closed the staff came back a made Dinner. I can fully recommend

Hostal Inti Uma Kala, que tiene jardín y vistas a la ciudad, está en Comunidad Challapampa, a 2,8 km de Chinkana y Mama Ojjlla. The view of the hostel was amazing, especially for sunrise. Hot showers and comfortable beds.

Hosteria LAS ISLAS está en Comunidad Yumani y tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Cada habitación dispone de un patio con vistas al jardín. The owner 100%! Very helpful, lovely lady.
