It has a stunning view, which literally leaves you speechless, and yes, it's worth every step you climb to get up there (believe us, you'll appreciate staying there!) From here, you'll be able to start trekking to the north, and to the Pilkokaina temple, skipping the first challenging climbing if staying around the port, and if you like exploring, there are many hills in the surroundings to visit with unbelievable views, which are not commonly visited. An additional plus: you're a few steps away from the best sunset viewpoint. BEDROOM My husband and I took the Double Room with Lake View, which has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Both areas, the bedroom and the bathroom, were super tidy and clean. Besides the basic toiletries, we were provided with two shower towels and a shower mat. We stayed 5 nights and we had cleaning service without any additional cost. The bedroom has a nice and pleasant temperature all day, and this is possible thanks to the bedroom's compact design, the wooden floor, the alpaca bedside rugs, and the hermetic windows. Also, the bed has enough blankets to keep you warm during the cold nights, which we consider important. BREAKFAST We had breakfast included, and we can say it's exactly what someone needs to yield physically while exploring the island, and of course, natural ingredients & yummy! (Basically: local herbs infusion, tea or coffee, natural orange juice, scrambled eggs, butter and jam, local bread).

TITI QALA HOSTEL tiene zona de playa privada, terraza, restaurante y bar en Comunidad Challapampa. El alojamiento está a 2,6 km de Chinkana y Mama Ojjlla. Excelente ubicación, el anfitrión, Pablo, muy amable, me ayudó en todo lo que surgía. Desayuno bastante completo, lindas vistas. Cuenta con estufa, un detalle muy importante.

The rooms were very large and modern. The bathroom was large modern and very clean. The room had a heater and the beds had plenty of blankets. The service from the owner was fantastic. And she gave us delicious breakfasts. The hotel is located near the top of the Inca stairs and provides excellent views out over Lake titicaca. It is close to the hiking trails and the main restaurants in the town. Super value at this little hotel.

Hostal Phaxsi está frente a la playa en Comunidad Yumani y dispone de terraza y restaurante. El hostal o pensión libre de humo cuenta con wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. O quarto era muito bom, praticamente no pé da costa da ilha onde chegam os barcos, entao nao há problemas de ter que caminhas muito com bagagens. O chuveiro é bom, tambem tinha aquecedor no quarto e o quarto tinha um bom tamanho.

Hostal Inti Uma Kala, que tiene jardín y vistas a la ciudad, está en Comunidad Challapampa, a 2,8 km de Chinkana y Mama Ojjlla. The view of the hostel was amazing, especially for sunrise. Hot showers and comfortable beds.

Hosteria LAS ISLAS está en Comunidad Yumani y tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Cada habitación dispone de un patio con vistas al jardín. The owner 100%! Very helpful, lovely lady.
