The room was modern, beautifully decorated, and equipped with a great espresso machine that made mornings even better. Flamingo Beach is only a 5 min walk. The hotel owners were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, providing beach towels, chairs, surfboards for the kids, and even a cooling box for days out. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Delicious fresh fruits, a wonderful selection of homemade breads and pastries, and everything beautifully presented. The room also came with all the necessary toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.

Refugio Surf Lodge ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลที่เดินทางไปหาด Tamarindo Beach ได้ใน 300 ม. This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

Fresh homemade excelent breakfast. Jam, bread, yoghurt, etc all made by the hosts in the morning and tasted wonderful. We were lucky and got to have Marcos homemade dinner which was a delightful experience. Wonderful inviting hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we will be back some day!
