This wonderful property provided the best value out of all places I stayed at during my three week trip in the Middle East. It’s located less than five minutes from the entrance to the pyramids of Giza. And you are able to see a beautiful view of the pyramids every time you have breakfast. I slept well there even though I would go to bed early. It’s located on a quiet street off of another quiet street. We didn’t hear the neighbours and had a relaxing great time while there. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The owner went out of his way to make our visit to Cairo a success. We had several issues that were unrelated to the hotel and the owner helped us to resolve all of them. If this hotel were to cost twice as much as it does, it would still be a terrific value.

Plus, the huge windows in the rooms provide so much light and offer a side view of the Giza Pyramid Plateau.

Despite feeling physically unwell in Egypt, I felt truly comfortable at the hotel: attentive staff, hearty breakfasts, and beautiful views of the Sphinx and the Pyramids. Giza is not the cleanest area in Cairo, so Sequoia is literally an oasis of comfort amid the general chaos. Yes, of course, there are many fruit and juice shops nearby, banks, and most importantly - the entrance to the Pyramids, but all of this is in constant motion and full of questions. The staff not only helped us get from the airport to the hotel (and back), but also arranged a trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the driver took us in the morning and picked us up in the evening. Any other requests were also handled quickly and efficiently.

Offering city views, Mak Pyramids View is an accommodation located in Cairo, 1.4 km from Great Sphinx and 2.2 km from Giza Pyramids. Perfectly situated in the heart of Giza. Less than a kilometer from the Pyramids and Sphinx. Phenomenal staff and service made the experience of being in a foreign country very enjoyable. Complimentary breakfast and dinner that always hit the spot for me. I'd give it an 11/10 if I could.
