They did an excellent job of transforming a majestic old city palace into a modern luxury hotel, preserving the elegance of the 19th century. Situated in Cádiz, 1.5 km from La Caleta Beach and 500 metres from the centre, Plazuela del Carbón Suites features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Our party booked both an apartment and suite. Both were spacious and comfortable. The lobby was clean and inviting. The hotel is right off the Plaza Espana and close to squares, shops and restaurants. Also a short walk or bus ride from the train station so very easy to get around. We were very happy with this selection and we would stay here again. There is a mini bar in the lobby stocked with water and soft drinks that are free to guests. Snacks are also provided.
