I also liked the fact that they were very friendly to animals, not just guests' pets but also stray cats from the area.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows, a minibar and a coffee machine with capsules (new and different types of capsules were added every day). There was a hairdryer available. The internet was good and stable. The room had a balcony with two armchairs and a table. We appreciated having an outside water tap for rinsing off the sand of the beaches (all famous beaches are 9-15 min away by car). The owner Jovana was very kind and helpful, which contributed to our wonderful stay on the island of Elafonisos. Upon arrival, we received a beautiful branded beach bag as a gift, but the compliment on the eve of our departure exceeded all expectations and made our stay unforgettable. We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.
