The hosts Dimitrios and Nina were great, knowledgeable super friendly gave us great suggestions for where to go and where to eat. Exceeded our expectations in every respect. Beautiful apartments, we asked for the seaview and it was no extra charge, the walk is easy and close to beaches, cafes, shops and seaside Tavernas. Kala Nera is a charming village, the name means "Good Waters" and it really was, the beaches are perfect, the Taverna's were very good. If you have a car don't miss going up the mountain to eat at Niki's Taverna in Zagora, surrounded by Apple Trees on both sides, the road is very winding but you don't need to rush. We saw wild hogs, a fox, cute houses and when you arrive at NIki's you'll taste what it's like to eat in the home of a Greek family, the ladies in the kitchen love what they do and so will you. Beautiful views, try to get there to see the sunset.

The apartment was cozy but very functional, spotless and comfortable for a one night stay. Close parking in a secure garage. The balcony was pleasant for a cup of tea and the TV had a nice swivel to watch on the couch or from bed, if one was so inclined. Good shower pressure. Slept very well with y the comfortable bed and room darkening curtain. Very convenient to activities on a neautiful O church square but exceptionally quiet. Generous breakfast offerings. Would stay here again in a snap if I'm able to visit Volos again.

Very nice and cozy apartment with a good position! The location is very central with easy access to everything in the central part of the town and also to the seafront. There was e very beautiful view to the Pelion mountain. Everything was very clean and the apartment with all necessary things at our disposal.
