The food is so good, generous portions and fair prices. Communal dinner every night means you get a chance to meet most of the other guest. Thereby also a nice place to go as a solo traveler. The staff and owner are super sweet. There’s a little yoga hut with lake view that I had all for myself to exercise in the morning.

The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

I stumbled upon this place on Booking at the last minute. It turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. The staff is excellent - super attentive and very kind! The food is amazing and prices are reasonable! We stayed in a private room with private bath. The mosquito nets over the bed were a lifesaver. The bed was comfortable. The shower and bath were actually outside, which was unique and fun for a few days! There’s no hot water but after a day outside in the heat that wasn’t such a big deal. The location is perfect! 100% recommended!

We booked this hotel as we were driving to our destination. I called and asked if they would let us check in at midnight and they were happy to have us. When we arrived, they greeted us, showed us to our room, and said we could deal with the paperwork in the morning. When we woke up in the morning, I was astounded by their beautiful location, tranquility around the river, and excellent restaurant. The paperwork was fast and we had a delicious meal before continuing on our journey.I wish we had more time to enjoy their pool and riverfront views.
