I really loved it here. The hostel is located in a beautiful spot and offers a lot of fun activities to do, such as kayaking, a chocolate workshop, or if you’re looking to relax—lying in a hammock or getting a massage. In the evenings, if you feel like it, you can play games with fellow travelers. The staff members and the owner are incredibly kind and helpful. Every evening a delicious family-style dinner was prepared. I have some allergies, and they adjusted my meals perfectly for me without any trouble.

All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. I stumbled upon this place on Booking at the last minute. It turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. The staff is excellent - super attentive and very kind! The food is amazing and prices are reasonable! We stayed in a private room with private bath. The mosquito nets over the bed were a lifesaver. The bed was comfortable. The shower and bath were actually outside, which was unique and fun for a few days! There’s no hot water but after a day outside in the heat that wasn’t such a big deal. The location is perfect! 100% recommended!

This rustic-style property offers a private beach area, BBQ facilities, a restaurant and bar on site, plus a gym. Mar Marine Yacht Club also boasts massage services and free WiFi access. Situated right on the water, this hotel offered a beautiful restaurant, hammocks to relax in, and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The room was very clean, the shower had good hot water and pressure.
