Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Fantastisk udsigt. Venligt og imødekommende personale. Robert arrangerede en sejltur til en af de nærmeste øer, hvor der var fine muligheder for snorkling. Kan varmt anbefales.

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us ligger ved stranden i Bukit Lawang og har en bar. Her er en terrasse, gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Property was clean and overlooked the river view. My stay was excellent, and I also booked the jungle trek with them. It was absolutely amazing, and it was their own business. So it was a small group. Ricky and Anto were great with taking care of us. You should really try this activity! It’s very very worth it, and rest assured you are in good hands.

Santi Garden Bungalows ligger i Iboih, 2 minutters gang fra Pantai Iboih Strand, og har en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The bungalow was great. Clean, lots of room and the location is close to Olala restaurant and the village itself. Robi the manager is very helpful and always checking to make sure all is good. Staff were friendly. The snorkelling right of the dock (which is Olala’s but they were fine with Santi using) was fantastic most days. Definitely would return here

The hosts, the staff, the quality of the accomodation, The position. Nothing was a problem. A place to truly do whatever you want with no worries whatsoever. Restaurant good with a beautiful view. Genuinely lovely, responsible and helpful owners. They were always there to help you.

Had an amazing stay at orangutan bungalow Location was perfect, got to see orangutans, Thomas leaf monkey and long tailed macaques on the daily around the bungalow. Beautiful views and far from the hustle bustle of the town Risky and team were super helpful throughout. The gado gado was one of the best I've had in Indonesia. Wifi was far better than I expected.

He arranged transportation to/from Bukit Lawang. He also arranged a day trip to the jungle with our guide Jhony whom we recommend as well! The place is by the river and absolutely lovely.

From the cute little huts to the super kind and capable staff, we were happy about everything! We want to point out the excellent organization of our pick up and drive by Yusuf, the welcome at the lodge, then the core piece the jungle trekking with Andi who was so knowledgeable about orang-utans and the rain forest. The food at the lodge was great too. Bukit Lawang is a place where things still seem intact and tourists are decent and treated kindly too. If it wasn‘t so far, I would go back in a heartbeat. It was an exceptionnal experience!
