We had a lovely stay at The Jungle Guide lodges. Wonderful view of the jungle from the hut. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. Happy vibes and good chats :)

One of the best homestays I’ve stayed at in my 4 months of traveling SE Asia. Very comfortable private room with great air conditioning. The staff are extremely helpful with any recommendations or help you may need.

Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly ligger i Bukit Lawang och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och massagebehandlingar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Fantastiskt och lugnt läge i utkanten av byn med älv och djungel utsikt med apor i direkt närhet. Här bor du privat på djungel-sidan av älven på en famliljär lodge med endast 2 bungalows. Vi hade en orangutan på lodgen en morgon. Bästa service och omtanke från personalen. Man blir mycket väl omhändertagen. Ska du gå djungel trekking, boka med lodgen. Verkligen proffsig, kunnig och lyhörd guide.

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking ligger i Bukit Lawang och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en terrass och en restaurang. Utöver conciergeservice har detta boende även en grill. The guesthouse is in an amazing location, on the shore of the river. The rooms are cosy and have a nice terrace facing the river. Andy and his bother were very nice and helpful all the time. The banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious.

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us ligger stranden i Bukit Lawang och har en bar. Staff were great for organising trips. Super close to the start of the treks and a lovely view of the river. Staff helped book the tours and transport in and out of Bukit Lawang.

Toba Boi erbjuder boende i Tuk Tuk. Boendet bjuder på utsikt över bergen och har en terrass. På Toba Boi är varje rum utrustat med balkong med sjöutsikt. This was for sure the best place I stayed in tuk tuk! The hosts were definitely the best part, so kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a fan, toilet paper, towel, free water refills and hot water in the shower which is rare here! It is in a quieter area but not far from delicious food. There is no direct lake access but you can access the lake from any restaurant if you order some food and ask permission :)

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak ligger i Alaban och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.
