While many places have turned these into modern hotels, this place has chosen to preserve its natural and original spirit. Step outside your room and you are surrounded by greenery. You wake up with nature and fall asleep to the sounds of the forest. The environment is kept clean every day, and in the evenings, the young staff sometimes play guitar and sing softly—not as a performance, but as a natural sharing. The guesthouse is in an amazing location, on the shore of the river. The rooms are cosy and have a nice terrace facing the river. Andy and his bother were very nice and helpful all the time. The banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious.

We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.
