I read the many glowing reviews it had received before I booked but even then I did not expect the standard of care to be as high as Peter and others showed towards me, it was truly heartwarming and made the stay in Anjuna memorable. The home is fantastic, the location just a short walk to the beach and I'll say it many times, the hospitality is unrivalled. Peter went above and beyond to ensure my stay was to my satisfaction from the many cups of chai I was having while unwell, the enjoyable conversations, fantastic food at the fusion restaurant, and even arranging a cab to the airport on very short notice. The Astor - All Suites Hotel Candolim Goa has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a restaurant and bar in Candolim. The hotel was fabulous! The two rooms I stayed in were beautifully appointed and designed. Bathrooms were well styled also. The pool area was not huge but nicely set out. The gym, although small, was fitted out with enough equipment for a simple and effective workout. The restaurant and bar area was nice - the food was excellent. The highlight really was the quality and friendliness of the staff - they were wonderful and made my stay so, so comfortable. The complimentary car service to the beach and restaurants in town was super helpful!
