The location was amazing, I was traveling from Taiwan, it was the bestest time and holiday I could have ghokarna and Areca nest made it possible. the host Ankit was amazing he made it very comfortable for me and my partner. Areca nest Is a very warm place. Everyone is very friendly among the neighbor hood too. Must visit and look for Areca nest and Ankit.

The Hostel Stories, Varkala - Helipad Road er kun for voksne og ligger i Varkala. Her er en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. I intended to stay here for only 1 night, but it ended up being 4 because I loved it so much. I’ve stayed in a fair amount of hostels as a solo traveler, but this is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. It is situated close to the beach & restaurant area, & the property itself has a big common area & a beautiful outside area to meet & hang out with staff & other travelers. what makes this place unique, however, is the people who run it - they are so friendly, welcoming, & really care about you. If you are thinking of coming to varkala, then “Hostel Stories” is where you want to stay at for the good vibes!

Shamak Homestay Varkala ligger 8 minutters gang fra Varkala Strand og tilbyder en have og en terrasse samt indkvartering med gårdhave og gratis wi-fi. Everything from when you walk in and the wind bells charm so smoothly and softly to the incense keeping the place light and the feng shui is almost so spot on that it’s hard to leave. Beds are soft and comfy the space feels like a home away from home. The linen is nice and comfortable as well as the bathroom being maintained. The aura of the place is unmatched. I’ve just had the best 4 night at Shamak out of my whole experience in India x thank you Anmol and Ashif. For making it feel so warm safe and calm. It’s walking distance from everything but also nice and quite from the hustle n bustle.

Garden is beautiful and the fish in the pond are plenty. The staff is very nice and helpful in any way. Dinner can be ordered over WhatsApp and is tasty. Breakfast is OK.
