Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.

Set in Egilsstadir, 5.9 km from Hengifoss, Hengifosslodge Skáldahús has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Cute little cottage that had everything, including stovetop and little dining room. Room was comfortable.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. Beautiful and cozy cottage in a wonderful location. Has a small kitchen and bathroom, well heated and with fast WiFi. Welcoming family, they showed us and presented a small museum they have built about the postman profession in Iceland (their grandfather was a postman). Lovely experience chatting with them and getting to know the Icelandic culture and history.

Situated in the coastal village of Breiddalsvík, Hotel Breiddalsvik offers a large terrace with an open fireplace and rooms with a satellite TV and work desk. Nice, warm, comfortable interior

Álfheimar Hotel features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Borgarfjordur Eystri. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The wooden construction had 10 rooms in a row. Our room was spacious, well decorated and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was very tasty and of good quality. We are sorry that we did not eat in the restaurant as the menu looked delicious. Location is next to the puffin.
