D'Ocalée Holiday Experience lago d'Orta offers a hot tub and spa facilities, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Omegna, 20 km from Borromean Islands. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed! The view is obviously incredible, the apartment is soooo beautiful and the owners were wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights in the 1 bedroom apartment and we could not of have had a better stay. The apartment is exactly as pictured, the finishing touches and design is breathtaking. The breakfast each morning was so delicious, followed by lake swimming , paddle boards to use & a lovely warm hot tub. It has everything you need and it's only a short drive or bike ride into Omegna or Orta. Really a 10/10 stay! I could not recommend it more and we cannot wait to return!

Situated in Pettenasco, Laqua by the lake offers beachfront accommodation 27 km from Borromean Islands and provides various facilities, such as a garden and a bar. The design is very minimalist and nice. Breakfast and lunch is very good. Michelin restaurant good but a bit overrated. There were some misunderstanding with the reservation via booking but the staff find excellent solutions for all issues being super nice. I strongly recommend this place.

Set in a renovated 18-the century building on the shores of Lake Orta, B&B AL DOM is in Sacro Monte di Orta and offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a garden, and a terrace. The location and B&B had been highly recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. Our very clean room was a good size with plenty of light. It had a balcony and a stunning outlook over to the lake across a private garden that belongs to the B&B and is for the use by its guests. The breakfast was outstanding and the host, Massimo, is very obliging and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

The Hotel Ristorante Villa Crespi is set in an impressive 19th-century building surrounded by private gardens which lead to a beautiful lake. Remarkable historical palazzo, member of Relais & Châteaux. The service here is outstanding — staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everything is perfectly taken care of, and breakfast is just amazing. Orta is a lovely place to explore while discovering the lake region.

Situated in Gozzano, in a historic building, 30 km from Borromean Islands, Palazzo del Vescovo is a recently renovated apartment with free bikes and garden. The weather was not ideal for beach activities. However the apartment was cozy and well equipped with very nice sitting area outside.

Set 25 km from Borromean Islands, Antro Di Circe - Orta Centro offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Christina was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The location was exceptional and the apartment was spacious, unique and a perfect base for Lake Orta. Many Thanks
