He personally greeted us on arrival and on departure. His service was excellent. There is such a difference in a property that is managed by owners as you get that personal experience. There was also a personal greeting for us in the apartment. The apartment was spacious with all amenities. The bed, pillow and towels were all of excellent quality. The location was close to several restaurants that could be walked to. On our three trip through Italy this was the best place we have stayed! If I could rate higher than 10/10 I would.

Rivalago B&B is set on the seafront in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 18 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a lift. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and room service for guests. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Extraordinary location at the Orta Lake. What a breathtaking view from the penthouse apartment. Furthermore the owners were very present and helpful during our stay. We were just doing a short pitstop for 3 days at the Lake towards our destination - but had we known this place, we would have planned for more days. Well equipped with paddleboards etc to enjoy the Lake.

Enrico the host was super helpful and made our stay so much better by recommending where to eat and places to see. Highly recommend!
