An easy 20-25 minute walk from the station. All old town in 10minute walkable distance. Garden really pretty and peaceful. Room clean and kind of fancy, bathroom is ace. Heating, seats, spacious, quiet, mirrors. Host is so lovely.

We had a wonderful stay and want to thank our hosts for everything. The apartment is beautifully furnished with a great authentic style. What makes La Dimora dell’Artista special is the feeling of being welcomed into a wonderful old family home rather than staying in a conventional hotel. The setting is peaceful and charming, and it worked very well as a base for day trips. We also appreciated having restaurants nearby, a supermarket next door, and especially the lovely on-site restaurant, with very good food, attentive service and a beautiful garden atmosphere. The large pool next door was another highlight for us: clean, well kept, with plenty of space and a convenient bar. Breakfast was good and offered enough variety for everyone to find something.

The house was perfect for our group of 5 for 2 week stay. Everything you need for an extended stay. Highly recommend if you need space and would be amazing in summer. You are out of town so you just need to be organised with groceries. 15 min walk into town with a hill climb to and from the house. Owners were lovely and very helpful.
