Excellent location: on the way to the crater and far away from the mud baths (so no unpleasant smell). Very clean place. WiFi and airco worked perfectly. Mini fridge available in the room. Very nice and welcoming host. Would definitely recommend!

You might like to visit the mud baths of Laghetto di Fanghi, a 10-minute walk from the property. Fossa di Vulcano, the island’s big crater and main attraction, is 2 km away. The hosts were accessible and helpful. They drove us from and to the port on our arrival and departure. The location is not in the town center, but still in the walking distance. At least for us this was not a problem. Villa Crimi is located near the road leading from the town center and both famous beaches to Vulcanello side of the island, amongst lush mediterranean greenery. We could really appreciate this since the kitchenette and dining table are located on the roofed terrace and we ate our meals outside. I noticed all rooms have plenty of shade on the terraces. We were there in May so this was not crucial but I imagine it is very important in summer. The interior of the room was nothing special, but we spent most of our time outdoors so this was not important for us. We also liked the sun terrace on the roof which is accessible to all guests, and I have to add that all 8 rooms are nicely separated even though they are all in one villa.

Guesthouse La Giara is 300 metres from the Acque Calde and Sabbie Nere beaches. The hydrofoil also links with Sicily and the city of Milazzo in 45 minutes. The property is 750 metres from the path that leads to the crater of Mount Vulcano. La Giara is a beautiful calm place to enjoy the staying at vulcano . Is super well located, from the port is just a 10 min walk. The chamber was clean, comfortable and beautiful and Freddy was super polite and willing to give good advices for make your staying even more perfect. Highly recommended place :)

Breakfast at Orsa Maggiore is Italian style and features local organic products and freshly squeezed Sicilian orange juice. The restaurant serves specialities from the Aeolian Islands including freshly caught fish. It was our best sea vacation. Vibes of "White Lotus." Very quiet, secure place with an amazing view of the volcano. It was only 10-15 minutes from a good beach, but we could stay at the hotel's pool all day. I was personally impressed by the staff and breakfast.

Therasia Sea and SPA is set on the peninsula of Vulcanello, with views of the Aeolian Islands. This impressive building in white stone features a modern spa, and a private access to the sea.

Each room is equipped with a balcony, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom in lava stone and coloured Sicilian tiles. Some rooms offer views of the sea and the islands. Beautiful location, nice amenities. The entertainment in the evening was lovely. The singer at the bar/restaurant was very good and make the evening very enjoyable.

It is possible to rent bikes or boats directly at the front desk. The property also organizes tours of the Aeolian Islands.

The property offers a direct access to the Acque Calde beach. The centre of Vulcano is 300 meters away. The location is superb, the staff (shout out to Lorena and Flavia) were attentive and helpful without being asked, breakfast was 5 star, the details everywhere in the hotel are beautiful and well thought out.

Excellent location - 1 minute walk from the ferry, 2 minutes walk to the supermarket, 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach. The outdoor patio - comes with a great view of the volcano, I was fascinated watching the gases seeping out of the sides of it. Its covered so keeps you in the shade if its too hot, and shelters you if its raining. The host was an interesting nice character, didn't speak a single word of English, nor us any Italian, but we managed by gestures and phone translations to communicate back and forth.

This recently renovated holiday home features a building dating back to 2023, which is 1 km from the Porto di Ponente Beach. All rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. Location was great. Five minute walk from town. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Patio great for eating and relaxing. Walter went out of his way, when the power went out he brought us extra comforters. Found us in town to give us some Cannolis.
