Situé à seulement 5 minutes de route du port ferry de Miyajima en navette gratuite, le Miyajima Seaside Hotel offre une magnifique vue sur l'océan. This hotel is a great budget option for a ryokan experience! I paid much less than what is quoted at other places but it definitely felt like a luxury experience. The traditional Japanese room is huge! And the dinner plus breakfast were very delicious and extravagant. I struggled to finish the kaiseki dinner. The staff were so helpful and polite. They even brought all my luggage to the room from the ferry terminal. The shuttle makes everything very convenient as it is farther from the main sights. The onsen was clean and very comfortable.

The villa itself is located in a very calm neighborhood next to the sandy beach. It is a perfect location to relax and have a nice bicycle ride around the islands. The villa is very well equipped and big enough for 6 persons.

This place has so many great things. The guest house is very well located; there is a tram station almost in front of the property and the JR train station and a little mall are a few minutes away. There are a lot of small towns near Ajina that are worthy of a one-day visit. We went to Miyajima, Hiroshima, Iwakuni, Mihara and Onomichi. The size of the room was quite good; it had two twin beds and a private bathroom. The kitchen view was amazing, it was my favorite place. The host was such a nice person: he gave us a lot of ideas of what to do during our stay.

I liked the fact that you got an actual key for a change. Yes, not the modern way but less to remember - put key in, turn and you’re in - simple. And a harbour/river view. The FULL BUFFET breakfast was included. Someone in comments complained it was Japanese breakfast What the?? There was so much choice including bread to make toast, juice, coffee, yoghurt, veggies, pasta, fish, rice, sausage, egg. All included in the $60 room price. I challenge anyone to do better!
