Being a self contained lodge with all necessary facilities such as washing/dry machine and fully equipped kitchen we did't miss anything more. Since it was a low season many of local restaurants were not fully open, so self catering is good to go.

Would have liked to stay more than just one day.

They prepared one of the most delicious meals I've eaten here in Japan. Staying at 一日限定一組の古民家の宿なんでもん is already an experience itself. i was really lucky to meet and connect (even in a short period of time) with the hosts. It's an experience i will forever treasure. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation in a quiet village, close to the access to Mt Shiude and next to the beach. The accommodation has almost everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. The owner is very responsive by mail and made sure I had a comfortable stay, kindly letting me borrow an iron during my stay.
