By far my best stay in Japan. Good quality appliances and huge apartment. The host was extremely quick and pleasant. The view is amazing. And it is a great non tourist starting point to the art islands around.

Seiji is an excellent host who has created a wonderful resting place for travellers and pilgrims.

The guesthouse is a short boat ride from Naoshima, where I was welcomed warmly by my hosts, who picked me up and brought me to Naoshima each day with their private boat. Lovingly restored house, with a dining room, tea room, and tatami room. Make sure to ask your host to show you the island, a really nice walk with stunning views over the beach. The meals, breakfast and dinner, were spectacular.

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation in a quiet village, close to the access to Mt Shiude and next to the beach. The accommodation has almost everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. The owner is very responsive by mail and made sure I had a comfortable stay, kindly letting me borrow an iron during my stay.

Eraranna, aia ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Lemon tree hotell on hiljuti renoveeritud apartement, mis asub Toyotamahime pühamust 200 meetri ja vähem kui 1 km kaugusel. Ken-san greeted me to help carry my bags. Upon check-in he brought me tea and I enjoyed the view of the sea from the common space/ kitchen area. The place is beautifully rustic and immaculately clean. I could have spent days just starting at the sea. And the food…. Wow. Everything from the garden or the sea. A delicious craft beer which felt well deserved after a walk to the lighthouse. And finally an amazing and very hot sauna before bed. This was more than just a night’s stay- it was an inspiration on how to live in harmony with nature. I didn’t want to leave and hope to come back.
