The staff were fantastic. Amila looked after us so well the whole time and really made us feel cared for and made our stay. Our honeymoon was perfect and so glad we chose Goto Ray Retreat. The team even wrote us a personal congratulations and welcome card for us on arrival! Chef Ko Takahira is a real artist and his food was amazing. He sources fresh fish from the market himself daily which really speaks to the quality of his dishes. We would definitely stay again. Shame we couldn't stay longer. Situated within 1.2 km of Fukue Catholic Church and 1 km of Jotobana, Oteragoto features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Goto. From the moment we arrived, Manami-chan went the extra mile and made our stay truly memorable. Her home is uniquely attached to her family’s temple, which she lovingly cares for, and the atmosphere reflects her warm, gentle spirit. The decor is impeccable—calm, cozy, and soothing—so it feels like the house itself is Manami: thoughtful and kind. Every detail has been considered: a comfortable tatami bedroom with soft, plush mattress and linens, a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and even a little mini-spa corner to unwind. There are two toilets (a rare convenience in Japan) and the location is great for exploring. Manami helped us rent e-bikes and gave us wonderful day-trip plans and cultural insights we would never have discovered on our own. Staying here felt like touching the true spirit of old Japan while enjoying modern comforts. For us, it was a dream place. If you value kindness, authenticity, and quiet beauty, book Oteragoto—you’ll feel Manami’s heart in every corner. She truly deserves all the guests who will love this place as much as we did. 10/10. Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Okune is located in Goto. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved that there was a usable kitchen with real kitchen knives, pans, pot, dinner ware. There was a grill. Plenty of space. Beautiful porch view. We launch our SUP with no problem. Good set up of our family of 4. So much better than a hotel !

Situated 200 metres from Miuda Beach, Tsushima Miuda Pension features accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Tsushima Miuda Pension is located next to the beach and the hot springs. The huts are simple, but comfortable and the shower water pressure is great. The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.

Situated in Tsushima and only 3.5 km from Tsushima Folk History Museum, Hinokisanso Tsushima features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a great, spacious lodge with everything you could need. Good airconditioning (we went in summer), good bathroom and other facilities also great! It’s a bit out of the way, you definitely need a rental car, but it’s a lovely and quiet location! The sleeping area is Japanese style, just an FYI, but it added to the charm of the lodge. The hostess was a very kind woman who greeted us with information in our native language and a welcome snack. That was really nice.

Renovated in April 2018, i + Land Nagasaki is 18.5 km or a 40-minute drive from Nagasaki Station. A hot spring bath, sauna, garden and kids area are available for guests. Good breakfast, wide variety of food. The Onsen and pool experiences at this resort are really good.
