JamboHouse Lamu is set in Lamu, 300 metres from Gallery Baraka, 500 metres from Lamu Museum, and 500 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum. The host gave me all the detail information about Lamu island and it was really helpful! Also, free airport pick up was very nice.

Situated within 500 metres of Shela Beach and 200 metres of Mnarani House in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. The bed and breakfast features city views and a sun terrace. Perfect location, staffs, clean room and most of all, they have unbelievably nice view!

Featuring a shared lounge and views of garden, Shela Bliss is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Lamu, 400 metres from Manda Beach. We loved the decor, the quiet situation and the breakfast served by Emmanuel who hosted perfectly. It felt like a real home, not an anonymous guest house. The beach was incredibly clean and despite the poverty very little was being hawked so it was truly peaceful. Shela is far preferable to Lamu.

Featuring garden views, Sai Shanti House provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 300 metres from Manda Beach. Chris is an amazing host. The house is lovely, perfectly located and very reasonably priced. I was solo travelling and felt very safe at Sai Shanti!

It is such a lovely place that will make your stay in Shela a beautiful memory. Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home. Thank you Sai Shanti. We will be back!

Featuring a terrace with garden views, a private beach area and a garden, Madakani House can be found in Lamu, close to Shela Beach and 100 metres from Mnarani House. Everything. Above all, Justin, the most attentive & helpful butler & chef.. The room was gorgeous..with everything I could ever need..a whole linen cupboard, baskets, straw fans..washing machine, iron… I have never been hosted so well…🥹

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a terrace, Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa is set in Shela. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Located a few steps from Kipungani Beach, Kizingo Beach Eco Lodge offers 4-star accommodation in Lamu and features a fitness centre, a garden and a bar. Amazing probably, just stunning and the staff were incredible. Would love to go back. Highly recommend.

Featuring a terrace with sea views, a private beach area and a garden, Mangrove House can be found in Lamu, close to Manda Beach and 600 metres from Mnarani House. We had a magical week at Mangrove House. It’s simple but perfect, and in an absolutely ideal location. Breakfast was always delicious, and Nyevu and Harrison were so helpful and gracious. We would recommend Mangrove House to anyone looking for a unique, private, gorgeous place in Lamu.
