From the moment we arrived, Rinas treated us so well! We had a lovely room with an extremely comfy bed! AC was excellent too and he made sure we had very good Wi-Fi Rinas organised a safari for us which was amazing, having already done one in Hurulu (saw 26 elephants) we wanted to try and observe a leopard. We chose to go with this safari over Yala due to the crowds. It was low season in Arugam and we do not regret it! The safari was incredible, the landscape alone was so different to up north and it was not crowded in any way! I think we saw 6-7 jeeps all day! To top it off , we saw a leopard really close in the last hour of our tour. We were estatic! How Rinas and the driver spot all the different animals is unbelievable Rinas helped us get the correct bus to Mirissa. As it’s low season, there wasn’t too many choices of restaurants but the one that stood out for us was Bay Vista ( the curry was unreal)

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodnest. The rooms are simple but nicely done – clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. They might not be super fancy, but for the price (especially compared to other places in the area), they’re genuinely such a good find. The location is peaceful, and the setting has a really nice, natural feel to it. But what made the experience even better was the friendly and helpful staff – everyone we spoke to was kind and welcoming, which added such a nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a solid, no-fuss place that still feels well cared for and has a bit of charm, Woodnest is definitely worth it. Can u change this a little

You will truly relax here. The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

The rooms are right on the main street at Arugam Bay, meaning you’re one turn away from most shops and eateries. We didn’t have to use an auto rickshaw the entire time we stayed. The rooms are standard for Arugam Bay in general, but very clean, relatively quiet at night and with good AC. Last but definitely not least, the host/housekeeper Mo was gracious, diligent and respectful. He goes the extra mile to help his guests with anything they ask, and deserves all credit for his great service. Big ups and all five stars to Mo and the team!

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

I had a wonderful stay at Bay Dreams. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. The hosts Mr Iqbal and his partner were extremely kind and helpful, always ready with great recommendations and support whenever needed. We originally planned a shorter visit but enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay (several times). The relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and great location made it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Starfish Cabbana in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka. We would give it a solid 10 out of 10! The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the accommodation was spotless and well-equipped. The area in front of the cabanas was filled with beautiful plants, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was just a short walk from the beach. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
