The location is perfect, in the centre of Arugam Bay, with many restaurants, spas and beach enterings nearby. The staff was the best - the owner is truly an amazing and helpful person. It's also great that you can rent a board, buy a lesson with a surfing instructor or organise safari trips with the staff in the hotel and the service is always on point. In the room there is everything you may need, there is also a shared kitchen, a clothes dryer and a shower outside which is convenient after surfing or if you want to cool your drinks in the fridge. The room is comfy and very clean (they also do the cleaning every 2 days), and the AC works well, the bed is also big. Would totally recommend :)

This homestay is operated by the most beautiful family and we honestly can say they set the most exceptionally high standard for Aragum Bay accommodation. We rented 5 rooms and everyone felt the same. Jaz and his family were so helpful with everything from money changing to advising on tuk tuk prices, arranging drivers and any other questions we had. They went above and beyond to help us and nothing was a problem. Even making a birthday cake for one of our group. The rooms are immaculate - so clean with everything we needed. Location is perfect and is in the middle of everything, steps to the beach and even has an attached very well stocked supermarket. Our stay here was such a delight and we really look forward to coming back here. If we could rate this accommodation 10 stars, we absolutely would.

Friendly staff and very good communication with Mohammed. Nice room view comfortable room with comfy bed. Room lighting was good. bathroom was clean good smell. A few restaurants are open nearby. WiFi signal was good. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. The hosts Mr Iqbal and his partner were extremely kind and helpful, always ready with great recommendations and support whenever needed. We originally planned a shorter visit but enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay (several times). The relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and great location made it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!
