We are very grateful to the staff, the manager and Inban for our stay at this place. They took care of us very carefully and politely. We were stranded and came here from our country due to this disaster. A Sri Lankan man helped us immediately when we arrived in Batticaloa. He welcomed us there and we stayed with him for two days. They took care of everything for us. We struggled a lot and all our clothes were dirty. They themselves volunteered to wash and dry them and give them to us. I had a small wound on my leg. The owner Inban bandaged the wound very neatly and fixed it for me. It was very painful. I had been in pain for two days because of the wound but after the medicine he bandaged it, I felt no pain. It was very good. I will always be grateful to him. The staff are very friendly and I really like this place. We recommend this place to others. Since we were affected by the disaster, they gave us some benefits completely free of charge. They gave us breakfast and lunch for free. They gave us their home-cooked meals. It was very nice. I would like to visit them again. My friend in Sri Lanka made a reservation for us. Our phones were not working. We lost our phones at the place we went. It was buried in the ground. So he booked us and let us stay here. Thank you very much to the driver who brought us here.

Dream Inn Guesthouse Passikudah asub Batticaloas Pasikuda ranna lähedal. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, tasuta eraparkla ja mullivann. Small place with clean and spacious rooms, lovely garden and very close to the beach. Superb attention at all times during our stay.

Hotell Krish asub Kalkudah's, 50 meetri kaugusel Kalkudah' rannast ja vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Pasikuda rannast. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. This is a fantastic little accommodation! Less than a minute away from a perfect beach (golden sands, coconut trees, calm blue waters). There was no one else on the beach on both days that we went. Mrs Krish is a lovely and attentive host, she was kind enough to cook us delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and fish curry for dinner. The rooms are big, comfy, clean and have strong AC and a ceiling fan. Within walking distance from a few restaurants, shops, ATM. Would definitely stay again!

Blue Sands Beach Resort asub Pasikudas, 100 meetri kaugusel Pasikuda rannast ja 700 meetri kaugusel Sri Muththu Mariyamman Kovilist. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were always happy when he talked to us. He was really great. We were even allowed to extend our stay by one night. The rooms are big and comfortable.

Kalkudah's asuv Sun Siyam Pasikudah pakub rahulikku ja mugavat majutust koos tasuta WiFi-ühendusega. Expensive, but worth it. Beautiful and luxorious resort, nice staff, everything clean. Room service excellent. Private beach with plenty of space, free umbrellas and sunbeds, the beach is cleaned every morning. The kitchen offers a great variety of dishes both local and European, everything is made of quality ingredients and the dishes are delicious.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Amazing views. Excellent food. Staff were the nicest people. Special shout out to Ruchira who made our children’s stay unforgettable. Spacious rooms. An unforgettable stay. Highly recommend.

Situated in Kalkudah and only 90 metres from Kalkudah Beach, Holiday Beach Guesthouse features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

Never witnessed anything like that in my 45 years of traveling; top nudge, functional, clean facilities in a huge lush garden accessing a sandy beach (50m in width and dozens of km wide with no footsteps in the sand. Genuin hospitality; you find it here. A place for true “foodies”… the Chef deserves a Michelin star. Complementary afternoon tea followed by a generous and “very happy hour”. This place is a rare Gem if you look for a total relax.
