The setting was peaceful and relaxing — perfect for unwinding. The staff were absolutely incredible. So kind, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed, from organising transport to recommending local trips. The food was sensational — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We had our best lunch of the trip right here, and the owner made the best iced latte we’ve ever tasted (or seen!). All in all, this is a place where you’ll feel completely looked after. You’re lucky if you get the chance to stay here — it really is something special.

Wonderful and unique place. The staff did an incredible job! You feel so peaceful, in front of the beach. The food is excellent and the dinner is just exceptional! How lovely to stay in this beautiful resort. The beautiful and spacious room stylish interior. The swimming pool and very comfortable canapés. All the management and staff members are so incredibly nice and welcoming. Everything was perfect. Thank you Karthik, Sashita and Chamod, but also all the other members of course sorry we don’t know all the names. We hope we will be able to come back one day.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We were totally excited buring our stay! Very kinde stuff, besutifull rooms with luxury view. Rooms are spacious and huge bathroom. Outside is a big swimmingpool with view to the ocean. What a amazing experience

Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The food was good too.
