Set in Batticaloa, 6.4 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, Inpan's beach resort Batticaloa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. It was much better than we expected. The place was well taken care of. There was nothing to complain about. The owner was very kind. He even gave us a car and took us to our next stop. It was a great pleasure to stay here. It was very satisfying and safe. We recommend it.

The Dream Inn Guesthouse Passikudah has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Batticaloa, 300 metres from Pasikuda Beach. The owner and his brothers did everything to make our stay very enjoyable: They gave us fresh fruit juices at our day of departure when we didn't want breakfast in the early morning and they even grilled some fishes that we brought at no extra cost in addition to the dinner that we ordered. The rooms are clean and spacious and the 3 bungalows are in a small side street with a nice garden, so it's calm and green around. When the neighbour climbed his palm trees to collect coconuts, we also received fresh coconuts for free. The breakfast was rich and they also offered good dinner (a whole fish, prawns or crab). We took the fish for 13 EUR.

The owner and the workers are really nice and helpful and the hotel is located few minutes walking from Kalkudah beach. You can also easily reach Passikudah beach by foot. I highly recommend staying here!

Facing the beachfront, Karpaha Sands offers 5-star accommodation in Pasikuda and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. This accommodation blew everything out of the Sri Lanka waters. Truly amazing hospitality during our stay. Passionate Manager Umberto didn’t just host us—he really brought his soul into the experience, and we felt it every step of the way. It’s the little touches that made it so special: the warm and attentive staff (i.e. Nif and Pathum),the delicious bites with our apero, the magical evening lighting, the beautiful art around the property, the fresh melon on the beach, the water service by the pool and beach…best of Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine (cooked by Umberto himself) and so much more. Every detail was thought through with care, and it showed. Truly unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming of coming back.

We had an unforgettable experience at Maalu Maalu Resort. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The infinity pool and beach were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Our room was a luxurious two-story cottage with a private pool, jacuzzi, and even a sauna. The spa treatments were top-notch; we enjoyed some of the best massages we’ve ever had. The food was delicious every day, with a great variety. One of the highlights of our stay was playing beach volleyball with other guests—it really added a fun, social touch. A special thanks to Ruchi, who truly made this trip magical. He treated our daughter like a princess, played with her, and made us feel like the hotel was our own home. He’s a rare gem who brought warmth and joy to our entire experience. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking to unwind in a tropical paradise.

You have a lot of privacy. It is very calm, the host & the whole staff is very lovely & helpful. The dinner and breakfast was always very delicous. They helped us with everything we needed. We had an amazing time & enjoyed the conversations with everyone there.

Located in Kalkudah, 70 metres from Kalkudah Beach, Kalkudah Beach House provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The food was good too.
