Good Karma Hotel is located on Rekawa Beach in Tangalle, offering an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free parking and a 24-hour front desk are available. We were in the Good Karma Hotel in mid-March. We really liked everything. The rooms are incredibly clean, the restaurant has a large selection of dishes, very tasty cocktails (I recommend trying MAI TAI). The staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. They helped us with absolutely every request we had. Best location on the coast. we checked several other hotels, but this one has the best view. Due to the season, it was problematic to go into the ocean due to the waves, as I am not a confident swimmer. However, the pool with a view of the shore made up for everything. We even saw a group of monkey once right on the beach. I was very afraid to book a hotel on my own for my first vacation to Sri Lanka, but I am very happy that I chose Good Karma.

By far the best accommodation we experienced in Sri Lanka. The beautiful garden with palm trees and lovingly arranged hammocks is absolutely stunning. We stayed in our own private wooden bungalow with a view over the open garden beneath the palms, perfectly equipped and very cozy. Outside, there were sun loungers and chairs, and the space truly invited us to practice yoga. It was actually the only place in Sri Lanka where we felt completely private and undisturbed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we didn’t miss a thing. The host was always available, incredibly kind, and very helpful. The food was excellent, with very generous portions. We were completely full every time. He even gave us a flashlight so we could see the turtles on the beach at night and offered us his scooter to go into town. If you really want to slow down, relax, and enjoy Tangalle at its best, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.
