The design and decor is absolutely beautiful, and there was a lot of attention to detail to make our stay extra comfortable. The location is incredible - right next to a beautiful beach which is practically empty, which felt like our own private beach. The food was also amazing - delicious breakfast, great dinner options, tasty pool-side snacks. The hotel manager and the staff are the loveliest and most accommodating people, treating each guest in a special way. Can’t wait to come back!

Located in Tangalle, 200 metres from Tangalle Beach, Chaya Beach Hotel, Tangalle features views of the garden. This place is super special. Tucked away in a family home. The room and facilities were of a very high standard, clean and most satisfying. The owners were really accommodating. They really could not have done anymore. They checked in on me everyday, whilst allowing me to enjoy my alone time. The breakfast was above and beyond. It felt like I was eating at a palace. They served me western and Sri Lankan food, encouraging me to try new variations. The owners themselves are just wonderful people, who will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Offering a garden and garden view, Maritime Nest Cabanas is located in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach and 23 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. This place is fantastic and incredibly close to the beach! The villa itself was clean and cozy, nicely decorated, set within a truly amazing garden, with a lovely swimming pool. You are completely surrounded by nature here! At night, the only sounds you'll hear are local insects and birds. The staff was also wonderfully kind and attentive. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Hilton Yala Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Yala. 21 km from Situlpawwa and 22 km from Tissa Wewa, the property provides a terrace and a bar. Excellent rooms, excellent staff, excellent food, excellent decor, everything was so well thought of. Absolutely superb place

Situated within less than 1 km of Red Beach and 12 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole, Finch Tangalle provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tangalle. Firrst rate facilities only a couple of hundred rupees to many beaches and the town. The room boy was amazing They even laid on a birthday breakfast for myself and my wife at no chatge.

Quiet, comfy, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Good food, near beautiful but empty beaches. Also recommend a trip to Mulkirigala while you’re there!

Set in Tangalle, a few steps from Wella Odaya Beach, Kayaam Wellness offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.
