We spent 3 nights of our honeymoon in Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa and it was just perfection! The hotel is beautifully designed, staff went over and above and even did a beautiful arrangement in our room as congratulations for our honeymoon. We felt so welcomed! The restaurant food is delicious, we enjoyed the ocean view pool and yoga in the morning. 10/10 highly recommended!

Located in Tangalle, 200 metres from Tangalle Beach, Chaya Beach Hotel, Tangalle features views of the garden. This place is super special. Tucked away in a family home. The room and facilities were of a very high standard, clean and most satisfying. The owners were really accommodating. They really could not have done anymore. They checked in on me everyday, whilst allowing me to enjoy my alone time. The breakfast was above and beyond. It felt like I was eating at a palace. They served me western and Sri Lankan food, encouraging me to try new variations. The owners themselves are just wonderful people, who will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The food was amazing and rooms were so spacious ....Owner and the staff were really supportive and attentive...Kids love the experience with the fascinating pool and we loved our stay at the Maritime Nest ...it was a wonderful experience ....we give 10/10 for cleanliness ,food and the cozy environment ...its a calm nature friendly environment which gave us a different experience from our busy lives...Thank you Mr Peiris and his Mom and the staff for a ecstatic experience ...Wish you all the very best... Tango Sunrise Villa features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tangalle, 500 metres from Tangalle Beach. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The host family was very nice. We enjoyed every moment we stayed in tangalle. Fully recommended!

All staff were extremely attentive and caring, going above an beyond for our needs and wishes. Very recommendable! If our vacation allowed it we would have extended our stay without a doubt :)

Staying with Sandhu and his family was an unforgettable experience. I can honestly say, from the bottom of my heart, that this was the place I enjoyed spending my time the most, and the hosts are without a doubt the best. From start to finish, I have absolutely nothing, but nothing at all, to criticize. We rented two cabanas/villas, and the conditions were excellent. Both the interior and exterior spaces were very spacious, and the beds were equipped with mosquito nets to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast is truly amazing! Prepare to enjoy delicious food! We loved it so much that we ended up having dinner at the hotel every night. The meals were authentic Sri Lankan dishes, prepared with so much care and love (it really felt special). The attention and care from Sandhu and his family are incredible. Sandhu was always there to help, whether it was giving the best recommendations for places to visit, arranging trips, suggesting local events and parties, helping with tuktuk rentals, laundry, or anything else we needed during our stay. We were genuinely very happy here, and I sincerely wish Sandhu and his family all the success they deserve. They truly go above and beyond, and I will definitely return in the future. I will also recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tangalle. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss! Unfortunately, the maximum rating is 10, because this hotel truly deserves so much more!

I stayed at House - Ayurveda & Wellness for three days and the experience exceeded my expectations. The entire place is serene, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxation. The beachside is simply stunning, offering peace and quiet throughout the stay. The food was excellent, the swimming pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness of the property was flawless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel warm and personalized.
