The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is a unique blend of relaxation, socializing, and adventure, perfect for a romantic escape, a getaway with friends, or a family vacation. We chose the Maldives for our 10th wedding anniversary trip. Among the numerous hotels and resorts in Maldives, our choice was the standard huruvalhi. This is because for us, The Standard has always been full of pleasant and enjoyable times. Beautiful natural environment, emerald lagoon, colorful corals and fish, blazing sun, hot but not humid air, blowing breeze, appropriate lounge music, sensible interior design and furniture arrangement, The Standard’s unique mood, friendly staff smiles and Even the greetings, our 3rd The Standard was fantastic. Although this place is located in a place where you have to take a seaplane, all procedures from Male Airport to hotel check-in are carried out under the guidance of staff. The seaplane fare is reasonable, and if you trust the guide, you will arrive at the hotel before you know it. No hassle at all. We arrived early in the morning, but were quickly assigned a room thanks to the friendly staff. I would like to say thank you to Eva (Korean) who was in charge of us. I was especially grateful for the attention to detail that made it possible for me to have a hassle-free stay during my stay. Even though she was busy with work, her willingness to always smile brightly and kindly and tell us even one more thing to satisfy customers was impressive. I think she will be able to play an even bigger role as the Korean market expands in the future. We were on an all-inclusive meal plan, so we had fresh, delicious food and cocktails for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We mainly used kula for breakfast, todis for lunch, and enjoyed Beru, BBQ shak, guduguda, and romantic dinner course for dinner. Every meal and menu was impeccable and I was amazed at how fresh the ingredients were sourced from a small remote island in the Indian Ocean. Each restaurant had its own unique atmosphere and taste, and especially the mood at sunset will remain as a truly good memory.

The staff on the speedboat were incredibly welcoming and left us with a great first impression of the island even before we arrived. The island is stunning, with turquoise blue waters that look absolutely picture perfect. The infinity pool is equally impressive and adds to the overall paradise like atmosphere. The complimentary 10 minute massage was a thoughtful touch from the management and the staff at the spa are very professional. Hiya Restaurant looks nice and the à la carte menu is great. We were pleasantly surprised to be transferred to the water villa at 9:30 AM, much earlier than the expected 2:00 PM check-in time. We truly appreciated this gesture, as well as the complimentary wine and fruit basket for our honeymoon. Thank you.

Resort is big and beautiful, rooms also, a lot of activities, amazing for young, adults and kids! This was my first time here but definitely not the last one! Furaveri Maldives - COMPLIMENTARY ROUND-TRIP SEAPLANE TRANSFER FOR TWO FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 NIGHTS OR MORE FOR STAYS 1ST MAY 2026 TO OCTOBER 31ST... Can't express in words how amazing the Furaveri experience was. Used Booking.com to book a villa. Upon arrival to the brand new Noovali Seaplane Terminal, the Furaveri Lounge was very comfortable. Coffee, massagechairs, just chilling, while the kid played at the kids play area. Top notch! Then an extraordinary experience with Trans-Maldivian Seaplane. Made 1 stop first before reaching Furaveri, just about 30mins traveltime. The views of the atolls were every bit as amazing as the pics we always see of the Maldives. Upon arrival, was met by Shelly, she was amazing as our guest relations staff. Very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. She attended to all our needs, a true professional! The resort is everything the pics indicate, but much better in real life. Lush scenery everywhere you walk, the beautiful colors of green flora and the blue hues of the skyline meeting the beach are a sensory feast for the eyes. The villa was classy and natural. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Loved the large outdoor washroom, jacuzzi, and showers. Slept well every night after a day full of activities, topped off by a scrumptuous dinner at the resto. We took the halfboard mealplan, so we had themed buffet dinners every evening at Jaafaiy. The chefs do amazing work and the service staff are professionally trained. We enjoyed the themes, from Maldivian to East Asian, Meditterranean, to Mexican. Wonderful food with lots and lots of options for any kind of diet or preference. The kids club was fun for the kids, with professional staff attending to the kids. The Wellness Centre had a gym, badminton and tennis court. Also a good place for yoga, but that can be done anywhere on this beautiful island. Watched the 6am sunrise at the jetty and the 6pm sunset at Amigos restaurant. Pure bliss!

We had a wonderful stay at Sun Siyam Olhuveli. The entire property is extremely clean, peaceful, and beautifully managed—so well organized that we hardly even felt the presence of kids around. Our room was cleaned twice a day, always spotless and comfortable. The Malaife buffet restaurant was a highlight of our stay; the food was consistently delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Special shout-out to Amir, Hemant, Balaso, and Delawar, who took such great care of us during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our host Dian was also very responsive and helpful throughout. We really appreciated how the resort team took our feedback constructively and acted on it. The island itself is stunning—clean beaches, serene vibes, and very well maintained. We absolutely loved the High Tides band, as well as the overall activities and performances at the resort. Our Grand Water Villa with Pool was exceptional, offering amazing views and a truly memorable experience. All the bars we visited were cosy, well set up, and had great service. Overall, every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and made our stay even better. Definitely recommend Sun Siyam Olhuveli if you want a serene, clean, peaceful and exceptional stay. Value for the bucks spent!
