The hotel is very new, and the service is excellent. You can tell a lot of thought went into the interior design—stylish and well-executed. The breakfast is also quite good; the cheese chicken wrap is delicious, though it's not available every day. On weekend evenings, there's live music at the bar, which creates a great atmosphere. I also really liked the mystery box cocktails—they were a fun surprise.

Set in Kota Kinabalu and within 400 metres of Filipino Market Sabah, CJ Residence - Opposite Public Bank Centre Point features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Everything! Nice and very friendly hosts, easy to reach via whatsup. The room was quite small but that didn't bother us. Comfy bed. Lovely stay.

Faloe Hostel is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 1.8 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. Great designed hostel locvated oin a commercial building by KK times square. Lots of cheap restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Stayed in the dorm with the double beds. Really good ccomfy mattresses, sturdy upper bed ladders, really good nites rest. Washer and dryer available for 6 MR each.
