Storebaug Hotell & Kro offers self check in, free parking on site and rooms with free WiFi access. Rooms at Storebaug Hotell & Kro are located on opposite sides of the E6 motorway. I liked the spacious rooms, good breakfast (perfect bacon!) and calm location (there's a motorway right next to the inn, but sound is perfectly isolated).

The hotel lies on the Hankø island with a 3-minute ferry ride from the mainland and 16 km from Frederikstad city. The staff was so friendly, doing what they could to offer the best stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the highlight is certainly the hiking area, with the island, forest, and beach. Loved it.
