I liked that it was off the beaten track, quiet was just what I was looking for. No sound of traffic. Everything you needed was there with ample choice on the menu. Steps are mentioned but they’re such shallow streps to get up really 5 steps are equivalent to one.

Everything about this place is exceptional….. it’s the staff that make this place 5*, the owner Richard was very friendly and accommodating, Jeff at the bar / restaurant was an angel! What a character. Also the reception staff Jeanette and Marianne was amazing, they literally scheduled the whole trip from reception, any day drips / bike hire / dives and the whole transportation logistics…. Special shout out to those two lovely ladies … thank you

This place offers great value for the price. It’s well located, close to Puerto Galera, and although it’s near the road, it’s surprisingly quiet at night, and traffic didn’t bother me. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with working (though a bit loud) air conditioning, comfy beds, hot water, toiletries, toilet paper, a kettle, drinking water, and good Wi-Fi. There’s also a great restaurant at the entrance where you can have breakfast and enjoy solid meals between 9am and 9pm. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The bed is pretty comfortable with multiple pillows. The place is also clean (though a little run down, here and there).
