Had a lovely bathroom and kitchen area. Ideal location in Madelena. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our bags when we checked out. There was a wahing machine/dryer free to use. The apartments also felt very safe and the outdoor door was locked as people came in and out

The location as well as the hospitality and service were more than awesome. Helen really tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible with all her heart. We had problems with our rental car, since we had to give it back one day before we left. She managed to clear everything with the car rental company. Additionally we had breakfast prepared for us early in the morning at 5:30, before we went up to Pico Mountain. And after returning, found a piece of chocolate cake for both of us in our room. We had our laundry made. And great talks with other travellers during breakfast. The little terrace in front of the house with a great view, the lovely outdoor kitchen - everything was really nice. We definitely can recommend this place and would come back ourselves. Thank you!

Muy limpio, buen tamaño y equipado con todo lo necesario. Se notaba humedad, pero eso debe de ocurrir en todas partes de la isla. La comunicación con la anfitriona Emilia era permanente, por whatsapp sobre todo, y estuvo todo el tiempo pendiente de que nada fallara en nuestra estancia. Es una mujer muy amable con quien coincidimos el último día. Le estamos muy agradecidos por su trato durante nuestra estancia. El alojamiento es muy recomendable.

Owners were super friendly and their house was very cosy with a nice garden and terrace. Just around the corner from the beach, where you could watch the sunset. Room was nicer than I expected from the pictures (the bunk bed was wider than it looks in the pictures and very comfortable). Breakfast was great with a lot of local foods. Very clean and equipped with everything I needed. And great price too. My biggest recommendation!

Recanto Terra Alta está en São Roque do Pico y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, vistas a la montaña y acceso a la sauna. Everything was just great! The house is new, it smells nice of wood, the kitchen is fully equipped, I really liked the beautiful ceramic tableware, it seems like a small thing, but it's more pleasant to eat from beautiful tableware than from Ikea plates.
