TURIM Santa Maria Hotel ligger i Funchal, 9 minuters promenad från Almirante Reis strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Fabulous hotel 10 mins from the port. Large hotel with large rooms/bathrooms and great sea views. Check in was a breeze, extremely polite and helpful reception staff, very happy to share their knowledge and experiences. They have a great rooftop bar by the pool (too cold to swim when I was here), but I did go to the rooftop bar several times. Staff was amazing, made great drinks (try the Poncha!) and always made me feel welcome. Breakfast was phenomenal, huge breakfast room with hot, cold, veggies, local fruits. Competent and polite staff...always very clean, delicious!! Highly recommend this hotel!! 10 stars!

São Francisco Accommodation ligger 5 minuters promenad från hamnen i Funchal och erbjuder gratis WiFi och moderna rum. Boendet är inrymt i en renoverad byggnad med 6 våningar och hiss. Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

Detta designhotell är en renoverad traditionell bondgård uppe på en klippa med utsikt över Atlanten på Madeiras sydkust. Ponta do Sol har en fantastisk infinitypool och badtunna med panoramautsikt. Helt fantastiskt ställe. Utsikten, poolerna, frukosten allt var så bra.

Det nyrenoverade, 4-stjärniga Hotel Baia Azul har ett idealiskt läge, 4-minuters promenad från stranden i Funchal. Superbra läge. Restauranger och dagligvaror inom gångavstånd. Allt som man behöver till frokost och fin utsikt från restaurang. Ägg i massa varianter och små wienerbröd m.m. Mousserande vin om man vill göra mimosa är ju ganska nice!

Meliã Madeira Mare ligger nära Funchals centrum och erbjuder utsikt över Atlanten. Här har du tillgång till gratis WiFi, inomhus- och utomhuspool samt ett spa. Hotel was immaculate. Staff were exceptionally professional and friendly. Cleanliness of hotel throughout was impeccable. Room was beautiful, spacious and trendy.Food from buffet breakfast to dinner was absolutely amazing. Decor throughout the hotel was top class. I especially admired the layout of the sculptures. Art throughout the hotel was captivating.Location of hotel was perfect. Leads directly onto beach walk. Only a few minutes from central Funchal. Few minutes from cable car system. Few minutes from Funchal port. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to both family and friends for all occasions.

Det 4-stjärniga hotellet Aqua Natura Bay ligger vid havet i Madeira och har en inomhus- och utomhuspool, ett turkiskt bad, en bastu och en bubbelpool. Här finns även ett gym och ett dykcenter. The pictures do not do the property justice, it’s an amazing place to stay, from the moment you walk in the door you feel cozy in a very spacious setting. And the staff, they were all just wonderful, specially Margerida at front desk. Also, it’s a great location to do some exploring in the area and it’s near to different hiking trails (by car).
