Hönö Sjöbodar features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hönö. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Something better than this would be difficult to find. The cabin was perfect with everything that I could need. It was very spacious with a great sea view. Kitchen had all the utensils I could need from a water kettle for tea to a dishwasher. I travelled alone with the goal of disconnection and relaxation but there is enough space to a larger group of people. The location is perfect, the shop (ICA) is near and within walking distance from the pier where the ferry leaves you or a bust stop. Best of all, the location between Hönö and Öckero islands. This way one can go hiking north to Öckero and Hälsö one day and another day go south to hike around Hönö and Fotö.

Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

We now know what it's like to find ourselves in a Scandinavian fairy tale, a fantastic house that looks like something out of an advertisement for Luis Buñuel's film The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, with breathtaking views and surroundings straight out of a travel guide—simply wow. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your spacious house! It was delightful, and we took the opportunity to explore Lysekil by leasurely strolling along the waterfront, We´re eager to come back in the summer. The many board games and the wide selection of movies available in the house were perfect for our entertainment. We had som great game nights!
