Located in Särnaheden in the Dalarna region, Knappgården is peacefully located amongst nature and ski areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. We spend a great weekend, the room had a good size with an private entrance that was great for the dogs. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, heated floor and towel warmer. The small kitchen in the room was great to heat food. The breakfast was very good, with fresh croissant and different options of meat. The hosts were very welcoming, helped with a lot of tips on what to do during our stay, always friendly and ready to help.

Gästhus Nornäs is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Nornäs, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

This family-run B&B is in Vikarbyn, by Lake Siljan in the Dalarna Region. Rooms and cottages here share a fully equipped guest kitchen and free private parking. Rättvik is 7 km away. We had a fabulous stay! We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi. The hotel is in a beautiful spot along the river and walking distance to the center. The room was nice size with a comfortable bed and luggage racks which was really nice. The host, Hakan, was very helpful with suggestions of sites to see in the area. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

Located in Leksand, 39 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre and 45 km from Falun Mine, Lake Lodge Rönnäs offers a private beach area and air conditioning. We truly enjoyed the peaceful location right by the lake, surrounded by untouched nature. The house is beautiful, cozy and very well integrated into its natural surroundings. We felt at home from the very first moment. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for slowing down and enjoying the silence, the landscape and the changing weather. Communication with the hosts was clear and friendly, and everything was well prepared for our stay.

Boasting lake views, Tällberg, utsikt över Siljan offers accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and a patio, around 23 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre. 100% location. Not much light pollution so it’s easy to see the milkyway! Also a very short trip to Siljan, which is 100% recommended. Peaceful en quiet.
